DIVERSITY PROGRAMS
ABC believes that diversity is the expression of human life in all of its variations visible or invisible. ABC, its chapters and member companies embrace diversity as an empowering competitive advantage through education, awareness and business practices.

The National Diversity Committee has developed resources and tools to assist ABC members and chapters in working with America's diverse workforce. If you have any questions regarding these tools, please contact diversity@abc.org

Employer Guide for Diversity and Inclusion

ABC is committed to supporting industry efforts to overcome the challenges and maximize the opportunities associated with an increasingly diverse workforce and subcontractor/supplier base.

ABC’s objective is to help shape an industry that is welcoming to all people—where employees and suppliers are limited only by their own potential, clients’ needs are actively served and shareholders receive value for their investment.

The purpose of the Employer Guide is to provide guidance, direction, information, and reference materials for ABC member companies that are initiating or further developing an existing Diversity Program.

Assessment Tool

Building and sustaining diversity have emerged as key issues that construction companies must address as they invest in the future. Member companies can use this assessment tool (PDF) to evaluate diversity within your organizations.
